Blog Carnival Submissions

It’s a good sign that you have something of value to offer when new blogs continue to keep linking to you, even when you’re just getting started. I feel very blessed for the warm reception I have been receiving from the blogging community. Here’s some more links to great blog carnivals that included some of my popular posts:

Healthbolt Carnival, hosted by Healthbolt.net included my post Self Evident Truths, where I speak about the fact that exercise is not necessary for weight loss. Check the comments section of this post, where Dr. Martin Russell voices his agreement with me in his post Exercise for Weight Loss!

The best practical advice article I could find in this carnival was Weighing the Pros and Cons of Diet Food, posted at FitnChic.com, which offers advice on the health benefits of diet food versus whole foods.

Carnival of Living Cheaply, hosted by 2paupers.com included my post Whose spices are cheapest, where I compare the cost of 66 different spices at Sobeys, the Atlantic Superstore and the Bulk Barn.

Donna Freedman, writer of the Smart Spending personal finance blog for MSN Money put up a great post at 2paupers.com called I share my bedroom with a freezer, where she talks about the cost saving benefits of owning a small freezer and living frugally. This article got me thinking about my own personal development in the area of finance.

Pop Goes the Gospel Blog Carnival, hosted by eagleviews.org and Blog Carnival on Personal Power, hosted by pinkblocks.com included my post Prayer and Fasting, where I expound the benefits of including the practices of prayer and fasting in your personal development plan.

I found a great post about humility at the Pop Goes the Gospel Blog Carnival called Shopgirl gets over herself, posted at angelawd.com, where the author tells us how scrubbing urinals helped her remember her place in life.

The post I liked the best from the Blog Carnival on Personal Power was The Price of Fueling Our Lives: 15 Abundantly Free Ideas, posted at thebridgemaker.com, where Alex Blackwell discusses some frugal things we can do to recharge our minds and bodies.

Christian Carnival #249 – Deep Breath Edition, hosted by deepbiblestudy.net included my post Blogging in a New Direction, where I explain why I decided to include more information about the Lord Jesus Christ in my blog entries.

A Different Prayer Blog Carnival October 31st Edition, hosted by itakeoffthemask.com included my posts Self Evident Truths and Prayer and Fasting.

Thanks to Healthbolt.com, 2paupers.com, eagleviews.org, pinkblocks.com, deepbiblestudy.net, itakeoffthemask.com and all the other wonderful carnival hosts who take the time each month to organize their events and make information more accessible to us all.
