30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet: Day 30

So I finally reached the end of my30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet, despite the fact that the last few days were like torture as I waited for the remaining few cans of V8 Vegetable Cocktail to disappear.

Thanks to following a diet where I ate no solid food and had only V8 Vegetable Cocktail to drink for the entire past month, I have been able to prove to myself once again that people can do anything they set their minds to.

All that is required to experience success in any are of life is to make some decisions about what you want to achieve and how you are going to get there.  Then you just need to follow through on your plans and never give up.

Sure, there were times over the past thirty days where I got really sick of drinking V8 Vegetable Cocktail.  There were some times where I would drink six cans one right after another in order to get them out of my sight.  Not that I didn’t enjoy the juice I was drinking, but staring at a large volume of it got a little depressing at times.

The key to my success while completing this 30 Day V8 Vegetable Cocktail Quick Weight Loss Diet was to never lose sight of my ultimate goal.  That was to get back down to a weight between 150 lbs – 155 lbs.  It pleases me greatly to report that I was able to achieve my goal and that I never cheated on my diet at all.

I received some criticism as usual from people who claimed that this diet was not healthy.

I agreed that this diet would not be good to keep up forever, but also added that my regular diet is best shown in my 30 Day Healthy Meals Weight Loss Diet posts.  I encouraged my detractors to have a better look around my website in order to become more familiar with what I advise people to eat on a regular basis.

Despite what some people had to say about this diet being unhealthy, I never felt drained of energy to the point where I could not function.  I felt healthy and energetic for most of the month, with the exception of only one or two days.

My physique changed significantly during the course of this 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet.  Even I was shocked to see how much my appearance had changed in only 30 days time.

I could not be more pleased with the results of this 30 day quick weight loss diet because now there is yet one more example contained in my website that people of any financial means can follow to rapidly and safely drop weight from their frame for a relatively low cost.

No doctors, weight loss companies or personal trainers are needed in order for anyone to lose weight unless they have a pre-existing medical condition that must be monitored closely.  The overwhelming majority of people can learn to control their weight through diet alone without ever exercising.

You just have to learn to make your mind stronger than your body.

Hey, didn’t I mention earlier that I was able to achieve my goal weight during this 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet?

I just made it to my goal considering that I weighed in at exactly 155.0 lbs today.  I think that gives me plenty of reason to celebrate my success!

I sure feel a lot better at this weight than I did when I got started.  When I was heavier, I found that I got tired easily and had a more difficult time climbing stairs and getting in and out of my car.

My clothes are fitting me a lot better now too.  I have a few pairs of pants in my closet that I am able to wear now without experiencing any discomfort, whereas just a few short weeks ago, they were cutting me in half.

The main thing I like to point out about these diet charts I post at the end of each of my 30 day quick weight loss diets is that it becomes immediately apparent how weight and body fat are directly related to each other.

Both of the graph lines in the chart above follow the same pattern.  That is because weight and body fat percentage have a direct relationship.

Knowing that this is true makes the fact that my body had to rely on its own fat stores for energy readily apparent.  This is what happens when you create what is called a calorie defecit.  A calorie defecit happens when you consume less calories in a day than your body requires in order to function properly.

Without a source of ingested food to use for energy, the body must look elsewhere in order to power all its internal and external processes.  The first place your body goes for energy when you do not provide it yourself through eating during the day is to your stored fat which is broken down and metabolized for energy.

When we take in too many calories in a day (i.e. – more than your body requires for the activities of the day), the extra energy is stored as fat.  Successful weight loss then becomes a simple matter of determining how many calories you can safely consume in a day given your current level of physical activity without causing your body to store excess energy as fat.

Extra exercise is not required.  Better dietary choices and better portion control are required.  Anyone who tells you that exercise is required in order to achieve successful weight loss is selling something.

You can go join a gym if exercise makes you feel good, but as soon as you stop exercising on a daily basis, your body will adjust to the lower level of activity.  If your diet does not change, your weight will rise again.

It is much easier to control what you eat on a daily basis than it is to run a marathon each day or force yourself to go lift weights.  I’m not saying not to exercise, I’m just saying that it has nothing to do with the healthy pursuit of effective quick weight loss or the maintenance of a body image you desire.  Diet, not exercise is king.

The Visual Results Of My 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet

Despite the date at the top of this post pointing to January 30, 2010 of this year, I will admit that I was a little late in getting it done. My intention was to build a bit of anticipation while at the same time getting a better appreciation of how many people were following along with my diet.

I received many emails and promptings since the end of this 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet to hurry up and post the results from Day #30 so that people could see how things turned out.

I have a lot going on in life right now and was unable to post the results until this time, but now will share with you my before and after pictures from this particular diet. In the pictures below, the before shots are on the left and the after shots are on the right.

Even I was shocked at how much my appearance changed during the 30 days where I totally avoided solid food. My ending appearance wasn’t quite as extreme as when I ate nothing but McDonald’s food for a month, but keep in mind that my starting weight was higher this time around.

I cannot add a lot of commentary here because I think these pictures should speak for themselves.  I was immediately impressed when I imported these pictures into photoshop to prepare them for my website at just how drastically my appearance had changed.

The first thing I noticed was just how much weight I lost in my face.  I got really thin in the jaw area and my cheeks had begun to sink in like they did during July of last year when I followed my McDonald’s diet.

I also lost a lot of fat around my midsection, where I tend to accumulate it most easily.  I know for sure that I lost a few inches off my waist because I am wearing the same pair of pants in both pictures and could hardly get them fastened when this whole 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet began.

In the after pictures, I have plenty of space to get those pants done up and could get both og my hands inside the waistband without having to struggle.  It really is amazing how much weight we carry around that is easily concealable under clothing but glaringly obvious when we remove our clothes.

Some of the best advice I ever got for figuring out if I was fat was to remove all my clothes, take some pictures and then jump up and down in front of a mirror.  As if the pictures weren’t bad enough, I was told that if anything shook when I jumped, then I had fat that I could stand to lose.

The pictures and the jump test are the best motivators ever.  It may seem harsh, but nothing gets you ready to make changes in your life or appearance than by getting a good look at how other people see you.

Summary

I am going to count this 30 Day V8 Vegetable Juice Quick Weight Loss Diet as one of my most successful quick weight loss diets ever.  Specifically because I not only achieved my personal weight loss goal by making my mind stronger than my body, but also because I corrected the problem of not having both before and after pictures on the main posts from this website.

I had been attacked in the past for not putting up before pictures that I thought were unnecessary.

I figured that if someone had achieved the kind of success I was looking for then it did not matter where they started from.  As long as they had the body image I desired, I was willing to listen to and apply their advice in my own life.

Experience has shown me that there are a lot of people who do need to see where the journet began, so I made sure to take both before and after pictures for posting at the end of this diet.  Hopefully now, there are enough good examples here and sufficient proof for everyone to see that when I say exercise is completely unnecessary for achieving quick weight loss, I am undeniably correct.

This whole venture was definitely worth undertaking.  The funniest thing that happened in regards to may 30 Day Quick Weight Loss Diets and my website in general is that one of my peers showed my website to a relative of his while claiming to know me and could not get that person to believe him.

They actually didn’t believe that I was a real person with real struggles and real, free advice to give for those who are coming down the road to weight loss success behind me.

Let me assure all of you that I am real, that I am just a normal guy who got tired of having his body win the food battle every day and that I now have a burning desire to pass on all that I have learned to those who are in need of guidance while achieving successful quick weight loss of their own.

Numerous people wrote in to me during this weight loss diet to say that I had inspired them to change, so I want to say how pleased and grateful I am for their enthusiasm and kind comments.  Achieving successful quick weight loss without exercise and learning to use the power of your own mind to shape your body and your future are great pursuits.
